PASSIVHAUS TRUST
The Passivhaus Trust (PHT) is an independent industry-leading organisation that promotes the adoption of Passivhaus in the UK. PHT is part of the global Passivhaus movement and the official UK affiliate of the International Passive House Association (iPHA).
PHT conducted a comprehensive study that identified almost fifty types of benefits relating to Passivhaus which they categorised into six distinct areas. Having conducted the research which was a circa 200-page document that included complex statistics, graphs, and tables; there was a need to disseminate the research to the wider industry and the public at large in a more accessible manner.
PHT approached us to design a digestible and accessible document that will present the research in a bite-sized and engaging manner. Our proposed design solution involved creating bespoke illustrations and a colour palette to clearly identify the six themes of Passivhaus benefits taking the reader on a consistent visual journey throughout the document.
The resulting editorial design solution presents complex technical data in an engaging and meaningful manner with the aim of creating a lasting impact on the reader and persuading them to take action. We also created a set of bespoke icons for PHT to apply to future presentations and collateral to create a consistent look and feel when they share the research across their communication channels.
This report will provide a valuable resource for anyone seeking to assemble a strong business case for a Passivhaus strategy or project. The multi-faceted benefits offered by Passivhaus presented in this guide will resonate with different stakeholders – homeowners, local authorities, government bodies, and policymakers.
